Although I am unable to accept any viewings of my pianos for sale or monthly hire at present and am not delivering pianos until at least 15th February, I can hold particular pianos on payment of a negotiated deposit.
Do take a look at my stock page to see what I have available.
As soon as it is allowed and safe I will resume viewings by appointment.
Wishing all my customers well and to stay safe. Do get in touch if you have any questions. With all best wishes, Matthew

I sell and hire good quality pianos! My Yamaha U series pianos are as popular as ever and I have supplied many of these excellent quality pianos over the years. I also stock a variety of other great secondhand pianos in super condition. Being a qualified piano technician I personally select all my pianos and ensure that they are properly overhauled 'inside' as well as out. Careful regulation and adjustment ensures that each note gives optimum touch and tone, so that as well as looking beautiful they sound and feel beautiful as well. Remember, I am not a shop but a qualified piano tuner and technician working for myself. From selecting the piano, working on it, advising you about it, delivering it and looking after it for you once it's in your home, you will deal with me personally. All my pianos are guaranteed for 5 years. Why not have a look at my stock list?
Try not to buy cheap poor quality pianos from an auction site or the local paper. I tune these type of purchases most days and in my experience a piano such as this will hold you or your child back and probably put them off pianos for good! If the touch and tone is uneven there is nothing worse. It's soul destroying. With my Monthly Hire arrangement there is no need - you can have a good piano in your home to give you or your children the best possible start. After 12 months hire you can give the piano back if it isn't played anymore or carry on renting. What's more you can buy the piano at any time making this a great way to try before you buy. If you decide to buy it within the first year of hire you can get some or even all of your rental back off the price. Terms and conditions apply so do ask for more information.
Quality Pianos not old wrecks
Monthly Hire Available if in Essex or Suffolk
If you buy the piano before a year receive some or all rental charges back
After 12 months keep on renting or give the piano back
A great way to 'Try Before You Buy'
How the Rental Scheme Works
You can opt to buy the piano you are renting at any time!
What’s more, if you do so before your 7th month rental payment you will receive the equivalent of the whole of your first 6 months rental back off the original purchase price you were quoted at the start of the rental.
Alternatively, decide to buy the piano between the 12th and 13th rental payment and you will receive the equivalent of 9 months rental back.
So renting a piano from me is a great way to try before you buy.
Of course, after a year you can just carry on renting if you prefer or you can decide to have the piano returned.
Some examples (many other pianos at lower prices available):
Purchase Price: £3900
Instead of buying now, you decide to rent the piano at £90 per month
You pay a deposit which is returnable if purchasing the piano or returning it in good condition: £250
After 6 months you decide to buy it: You pay only £3110!
(the 6 months rental and your deposit is taken off the original purchase price)
Or after 12 months you decide to buy it:
You pay only £2840!
(9 months of your rental and your deposit is taken off the original purchase price)
After 13 months you won’t get any of your rental back if you decide to buy the piano but you can just continue renting or have it returned.
